I travelled so much today!
First, i went to Parkway Parade. Then, headed down to IKEA@Tampines. Okay, so it doesn't seem that much. But both of these places are insanely far from my place!! AND.. there's no direct transportation.
And i took horribly long to look for the bus stop that brings me to Parkway. Sigh, but at least i got a shirt for my friend's birthday from there! :) ANIMAL HAVING SALE YAYYYYYYYYY :D
Then at IKEA, shopped for christmas! (Y) Sort of.. materials to make presents. Exciting much?! I KNOW.
Then met mom and dad for dinner! Went popular to buy even more materials and good, now i'm back home, sitting on my really comfy office chair, writing a post ;)

I really can't be bothered to post lol. But i felt the need to give you at least a proper and decent post today, since yesterday's was way too brief.
I'll still sum things up though lol, too worn out.
so the whole key thing today was that i went east coast park. i mean, a day with nature will always be good right? + awesome company (aka ken HAHA)? yupp today's great. and thank God like a million gazillion times that it didn't rain despite the ominous threatening dark clouds! cycled cycled and we took 2 big breaks haha! was great.. one was lying down on a sort of deserted road (okay maybe cycling track) while staring at the hundreds of birds flying above us. another break was just at the middle of the park connector.
cycled for a good 3 hours and trust me, my body's sore now. shows how much my body's used to my lack of exercise already lolol.
today went super well. thank you kenneth, thank you God <3

Anyhoo, it should be exactly 12 midnight now. We all know how 666 is deemed as the devil's number so i would like to dedicate this post to God! ;)
God you've been so wonderful, so magnificent to me. Though many a times i don't comprehend the paths you'd like me to take, you still gave me a satisfied answer at the destination. For some of course, i'm still walking a doubtful route. but Lord i'll learn to put complete faith in you Lord, that what come may, it'll be your plans for me. Everything's in your hands Father, i understand that.
You've been so merciful and gracious to me. I don't even deserve your unconditional love Lord, i really don't. You always stayed faithful even when i'm not. God i'm super ultra thankful to you.
From today Lord, i'll work towards "Success In Your Eyes." Yes God, because what's worldly success? It's only temporal. To be Godly successful is so much greater Lord. It's like a massive accomplishment. God yes, i'll have success in your eyes.
And finally Lord, i'll like to ask you for a favour. For me to put all the grudges i have against my sister down. I can't help but think i'm not at fault Lord, but as you said, anger can lead to sin. Lord i will find peace in you. That the relationship between my sister and i will be reconciled. That pride wouldn't be a barrier. God, i place my trust in you.

CIRCUMCISION.
There's nothing scary about this, IF there's proper clinical equipments and they're sterilised. The fact that it's just done by using a knife (which looks a lot like a chopper lololol) terrifies me a lot. It's so prone to infection! What luck the boy has to be safe now. And you can't drink water for a week? Awwchhhh the agony. Well at least he has some liquid to take in. That ALL THAT bad.
I would gladly say that i'm safe here in Singapore. Where guys are considered as man the moment they hit 18/21, and not the moment they are circumcised, lolol.

i would laze around like this all day long if i could.
life's been mundane. and i guess at the same thing it's sort of hectic. catching up with social life, making christmas gifts(!!!!) and attempting to keep family ties stronger. anyhoo it's NJ's birthday today and i haven't give him a pressie yet. shall do so later i guess, i mean.. he stays just a few blocks away! how convenient. i want to be swim. it gives me an indescribable feeling of freedom. just like ice skating omgee!!

meet awesome butts (buds i know) today. really cool because obviously we've been blessed. it has been pouring for the past few days but when we were at sentosa today, there wasn't even a drizzle. not a single raindrop. God's amazing.
but anyhoo, amanda and i had so much fun swaying with the waves! who knew it was that fun. i probably enjoyed myself a whole lot more than she did but doesn't matter, we both loved it! it's so funny, being pushed and pulled by strong tides. yeh it's cool.
oh the 7 of us played a little volleyball.. and sand fight.. and burying.. and building sandcastles and more. i miss all my friends :') they make you feel so comfortable around them.
had dinner at just acia. am i the only girl who finished the dory fish with melted cheese? shucks. too big an appetite for a girl. need to burn those carbs and fats soon hiakhiak.
then here comes the exciting part! so 3 of the guys found this really splendid spot at the stairs to watch F1. wow it was so spectacular! it's as though you're watching the actual F1 because well, even if you were at the grand stand, you'd only see cards zoom pass for that short seconds. so amazing. oh not to mention, it was annoying loud :O super deafening, but still worth it i guess.
loud noises sort of makes me cranky hehe.
today was good and photos will be up another day!! sorry but i forgot to bring my camera so i'll have to wait till amanda uploads it! yayyyy!

today i'm going to make (& take) a very important pledge. so here goes what..
hmm okay from today onwards, i, sera cheng jean lyn, promise to love everyone wholeheartedly. i'm not going to judge or scrutinize every being i see because, looks are just exterior and superficial. i'll start looking at their hearts instead, look at their personalities. ultimately, their characters. and no matter how bad i think they are, i, WILL find something worthy about them. and not look down/despise/get annoyed with them, for it's definitely bad. from today, i'll love my enemies. be kind to those who are mean to me. and surely, be extra double nice to those who've been great to me. they deserve a whole lot more than a friend like me. yet they accept me for who i am :') from today, i'm not going to annoy anyone anymore. i'm going to be that good girly (or tomboyieee) girl that makes everyone happy. because their smiles will bring a smile to my face too! duh it's good.

had kidsread today and boy, it was such an adventure! so i met dawn at dhoby around say, 7pm? we waited for the bus till it's about 7:17pm and we were super worried we'll be late! finally, 124 came and we hurry board it. massive jam ahead i suppose, the bus wasn't travelling all that fast. so we stopped halfway to cab.
p/s i think the bus driver was annoyed with us :O
so when we board the cab, the taxi driver was rather unsure of where telok blangah community centre was. we honestly thought it's fine UNTIL he dropped us off at radin mas community centre. that's still okay, i guess. he still INSISTED that that was the only community centre at telok blangah area! ugh so irresponsible haha.
dawn and i were flustered and all because we were mega late. i mean after all, it's our responsibility to be there on time right? and we were so afraid that the adults would give us looks of snide and all. sighhh really felt like skipping.
it was quite thrilling actually. being in such a rush. i think i was in quite a foul mood because we were firstly, lost, and secondly, late. so i was pretty annoyed with the taxi driver.
then we hailed another cab and this time, he brought us to the right community centre. 3 cheers for him!! so rushed into the room and sort of apologised (frantically).
yuuuuppppp kidsread was okay but aisyah wasn't there :'(

It's such a torture to have soooooo much mooncakes in the house. I CAN'T STOP INDULGING IN THEM! :O
And yes that's horrible! I can feel those fat droplets floating around every single part of my body, as though my gall bladder isn't releasing bile to emulsify them. Annoyingggggggggg. Looks like my 2.4km jog yesterday's gone to waste. Just ate another 1.5mooncakes for breakfast. THOSE BIG ONES.
Need to pump more exercise.
On a lighter note, MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL IS TOMORROW! Really hope i can celebrate with my lovelies <3

ohmygosh.
MY HOUSE IS INFESTED WITH BEES. Okay, maybe only 2 spotted so far, but i'm quite certain that there's a hive nearby! This stinks.
One of them was freaking crawling on my leg. Get that? A FREAKING BEE WAS FREAKING CRAWLING ON ME. Gross much! And what if it stung me? Omgeeeeeeeee!!
I'm safe now though, they're both dead and thrown down the rubbish shoot. Please, no bees shall harass me anymore! Especially when i'm asleep, or i'll scream. Oh gosh, what if when i scream, it decides to fly into my mouth? Sigh, time to think of a new solution.
Tonight, windows closed, doors closed. And that small gap down there below my door, yuuppp.. i'm going to stuff a towel there. It's as though my house is on fire and i don't want smoke to enter lololol, oh well :) I rather suffocate than have to sight another bee.
Trust me, they weren't this cute. I was too freaked out to search a life image of it. Forgive me.

They were so so tired. Walked so much. Well, quite a fair bit. And in the end, we only applied for a job at B&J. No where else since Build-A-Bear and Havaianas doesn't need any more part-timers :'(
So for now, fingers crossed! Really hope we can get a job there, together! :)

I'm so beat, no words can explain.
Going out with ken was like zomgggg fun much. And he had his virgin try of not only B&J ice cream.. BUT ALSO MADE IN CANDY! He's been missing out just too much in his life.
Chicken rice for lunch while ken had duck rice. Both of us had wanton (or twoton lolol) noodles for dinner.
Today's so tiring. We went from cathay cineleisure to great world city, and then later, head down to united square. I'm badly zonked right now but i'm trying to make an effort to keep this online diary alive.
(Sorry i'm so tired i can't think properly now. My statements of happenings aren't even in chronic order. They might not even make sense but well.. ya understand. Lethargy does this to you.)
What really amused me, and impressed me, was how candy was made in MIC. I mean well, i've seen it in Perth before so i sort of know how everything works. But watching the ENTIRE process live? Now that's something interesting. Omggg totally cool and i got myself a Sugar! Card ;) Cool stuff.
Okay i'm gonna bathe now. Ciaoz, sorry for ending this post so abruptly!

So we're going to have B&J, since it's going to be his virgin try. Okay now believe it, someone, at the age of 18, hasn't tried B&J before. It's almost like.. blasphemy HAHAHA! You know i'm kidding, i still love God ;)
Then.. our initial ubin plan was foiled so we decided to go to the arcade instead! There's this double dollar special which is like wowwww. Because the minimum top-up is 20, so ken and i are going to chip in 10 bucks each! It sort of means 20 X 2 = 40 bucks which is a really big deal haha!
