Oh yehhhh,

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY! :)

For all the best teachers in the world. Ya all are the ones who're enriching our lives, instilling the most important values into us. Without you guys, we'll be empty-brainers haha! (L)

- 10:53 PM

4E2, the class i'll totally love to be with, EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE :)

It's so amazing. We'll never run out of topics to talk about. And life's forever cool with them. Now that we're all dispatched, i'm so amused by how we can actually keep up this bond. It surprises me really, but i like it ;)

We met up for teachers' day celebration. I hung out with life's best persons from 7am, all the way to 10pm. It cannot get better than this. I'm so truly blessed with such a bonded class, who plays, studies, go crazy/silly, and lastly, stays together. WE'RE PACKED LIKE SARDINE :) I get it, the idiom wasn't supposed to be used this way, but ya get what i mean ;)

I love 4E2, they're just that splendid.
And i'll never grow sick of them :)
Thank God, seriously!

Photos up another day, sorry, that's cause i didn't bring my camera! :O

Am i the only one that finds the society very unbecoming now? Adults have such great influences. And if they're not going to teach their kids the right thing, they're going to grow up as vulgar fools.

Everyone's using the F word around me. It disturbs me a lot. For one, it's because they know the actual meaning of it, but despite knowing it makes no sense by fitting it into the statement, they still use it.

"That dog is so F-ing big!"

Does that make sense? It sort of mean sex. So literally, it means "that dog is so sex-ing big!" Nope, totally nonsensical.

Sighhh and the kids! I know of 6 year-olds scolding me with hokkien. I know a primary 3 who uses "stupid idiot". I know of kids of a mere age of 7 using the F word. Do you guys realise how bad these influences are?

Whatttt? When i was 6/7, i was playing by the playground. Sliding down slides saying "yahoo!", not "F". When i was primary three (9), i was at home memorising timetables, 'cause i know moma's gonna test me. I'll get spanked at if i don't answer her questions correctly.

Right now, parents enjoy seeing their children speak vulgarities. Doesn't anyone get how wrong this is? It pains me so so much. And instead of punishing them for using foul language, they laugh in agreement. Sigh.

Kids still can't tell the right from wrong. And if no one corrects/stops them from using vulgarities, i dare not even think what they'll grow up to be like.

Using vulgarities doesn't make you cool,
it just shows you're acting cool, dammit.

- 10:27 PM

Spell me exciting,
"M-E-E-T-I-N-G- -4-E-2!"

Tomorrow's going to be incredible fun :) The very last day i'll allow myself to play this much. Then it's mugger mode all the way till the end of exams! Honestly, i've not been nerdified like this for a real long time. Sighhh i've no life, just like JC kids.

YAYYYYY I'M MEETING THE DARN LOVELY LOVELIVES <3
BOY AM I STOKED!!

- 10:23 PM

Studying is such a Singapore trend. It's like if you don't do well academically, you're labeled as lousy or somewhere along the line. It's annoying.

I wish the emphasis wouldn't be so much on studies. What's the point of being smart academically when you're not street-wise? Try memorising formulas to excel in your workplace. We'll see how far that brings you to.

(Blogger keeps correcting my spelling, hello, Singapore here!!)

- 7:46 PM

MUSHROOMS!!!

You know, before i commit to this fast, i was really contemplating if i really should. But everything's turning out right. I'm starting to find out that actually, there's a lot of stuff i can eat apart from meat.

AKA MUSHROOMS (L)

Which means, i found myself another meal i can eat tomorrow!
RICE + CREAM OF MUSHROOM (L) Sounds great!

- 2:53 PM

Today's dedicated to MST. For one very simple reason - i've not touched it at all during the entire break. It will only make sense if i start working on it right?

Aye, MST ALL THE WAY!

And then maybe, work on a paper or two :)

- 3:14 AM

i remember being hooked onto this a while back :)

- 12:09 AM

Omgggg i love this so so much! And it's from F21!! Sighhhhh so much things i want to buy, so little money. If only money would rain down on me right now, what a blessing lolol.

It's pretty, no?

I want this so badly but i've no moolah :( the sad life.

Sunday, August 29, 2010 - 10:37 PM

silly beings (L)
Huge/distorted lips ftw? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm loving this.

And.. just in case you need an up close view of what kenken's doing, here you go!

- 10:23 PM

I CAN TOUCH MY NOSE WITH MY TONGUE.
I'm an alien, so?

Anyway, i'm gonna stopp studying for today. But of course, every ending's a new beginning right? Got to get back to studying tomorrow, sighhhh. Can't wait for exams to be over though! Imma party all day, all night long :) BEST TIME OF THE YEAR.

- 9:50 PM

1 2nd b4 <3
This production's gonna be so so amazinggggg! Can't wait :)

- 9:19 PM

FAST ON MEAT.

My fast on meat officially started today, and it's going to end on September 10. I really wonder how am i able to last from this abstinence, but i suppose Lord will make a way.

I was so horribly tempted to take in meat today, but no, i'm going to keep holding on. What's the sacrifice of meat, when God sacrificed his one and only son? Besides, it's only for 12 days. I CAN DO THIS! :)

- 7:22 PM

This speaks to me like no other.
Got to set my priorities right.

Yes, Heavenly Father First.

You stood before my failures
carried the cross for my shame
My sins weighed upon your shoulders
my soul now to stand

- 7:06 PM

IPC AUGUST 2007 PAPER
+
REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM
+
URINARY SYSTEM
+
MUSCULAR SYSTEM

Honestly, today cannot get anymore productive. I'm so proud of myself, and i mean it. But really, thank God. He does wonders. I remember praying last night for today to be ultra productive and yes, his works are so miraculous. I've never focused this much for so long already.

In church yesterday, i was surrendering my burdens to God. Mainly, studies. Studies have been the barrier of my relationship with God. I had peace immediately after that. My heart hasn't felt this calm since ages. I've been so caught up with academics that i've been neglecting God. Yet, he stands faithful before me. Isn't he amazing?

He has answered.

Saturday, August 28, 2010 - 10:50 PM

Do i still have to explain why i don't consume shark fin soup? This video should be biting all your consciences now.

So very cruel.

73MILLION SHARKS A YEAR. HELLO? AREN'T YOU BEING A LITTLE TOO INHUMANE?
Sorry, i'm removing the "little". It's WAY TOO SELFISH, RUTHLESS, MONSTROUS, VICIOUS AND WHATEVER WITH SIMILAR MEANINGS WITH SADISTIC.

WAKE UP AND STOP KILLING SHARKS!!

- 10:21 PM

I want to do this omgggggg coolioxzxzxz!

Sorry, but i've really lost any focus left for studying.

I know it's fake, i've watched Mythbusters before. I know how much helium balloons it takes to fly me up lolol, but still, i want to try LOL.

- 10:14 PM

JOKE, LOL.

- 2:00 PM

DAMN IT.
i just realised i've only 6 days left before FYE.
& i've yet to start on MST and IPC.

BIG DAMN IT.

- 1:40 PM

It sucks so bad when i've totally no motivation to study. But i can't back out now. I've to do well because i've no back-up plan. This 40% matters to me a lot, considering that i've already been messing up every single one of my tests and quizzes. No joke man, it's serious business.

Sighhh, need to get my studying back on track.
Whack this final exam upside down, do a suave kick and say goodbye to these modules, for good.

- 12:52 PM

You know that you can't put up a genuine smile when you're studying lolol. Even this smile feels so unnatural. That's what happens when APS takes a toll on you.

On a lighter note, church later! :)

Friday, August 27, 2010 - 7:36 PM

There are only two things i can truly appreciate about being in Singapore.
1. CONVENIENCE
2. SECURITY

Other than that, no. Singapore's too fast-paced for me. I want to migrate out, to somewhere more peaceful, where it's actually okay to procrastinate.

Maybe like Seychelles, or Perth. It'll be awesome if i stayed in Australia really. Get almost the whole ice-skating rink to myself 'cause it's pretty empty. I'll make new friends and meet some hot Caucasian. Get married and have cute little blue-eyed babies (L) HAHAHA, and.. i can forget about speaking chinese for THE REST OF MY LIFE.

What joy!

My daily routine will be something like this:
1. Wake up and eat home-made bread.
2. Wear my dashingly cool-looking uniform.
3. Rush out of home, catch the school bus (or maybe cycle).
4. Go school and be silly with my friends.
5. Sleep during lessons together.
6. Hang out like studies ain't important at all after school.
7. Reach home at night.
8. Complete my homework.
9. AND still have time for Facebook & Twitter.
10. Sleep.

Then this cycle goes on. Mundane it may seem, but better than the hustle and bustle here.

- 2:45 PM

Photos are obviously not in chronic order :)

A picture speaks a thousand words, this post is thus a long essay for you. Enjoy!

MARINA BARRAGE + SINGAPORE FLYER + ASTONS FOR DINNER = PERFECT DAY.

- 12:54 PM

I just had diarrhea. Must be the weird combo of brunch i just had.

wholemeal bread

+
green apples (mmm, sour sweet)

+
sausages (salty, yumyum)

+
plain yoghurt (which was really plain, yucky)

It's weird, but i ate all those together for my brunch. So it constitutes of salty, sweet and sour all together in one bite. S.S.S HAHAHA. Yeh i just realised. All the S tastes coming together. Must have been the cause of my diarrhea.

So much for starting to eat healthily. I'm hurting my health more.

I think i'll just stick back to berries yoghurt from Meiji :) Plain yoghurt's too plain for me lolol.

- 12:27 PM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!
This has got to be the best translator in the world, for one, to make me laugh this hard (Y)

Thursday, August 26, 2010 - 11:44 PM

Okay i will blog about my day tomorrow.

Just so the world knows, i was in my 7cm heels for about 10 hours today. Applause please? Any girl will be able to understand the agony i was in. Well it didn't really hurt till i was going home though, like 9 hours later.

TRY TIPTOE-ING FOR 10 HOURS. It's that exact same feeling.

Now i'm down with blisters on both my pinky toes. The price to pay for beauty, sighhhh. But all worth it :)

- 9:52 PM

I have something miraculous to thank God for today. Today was truly a blessing.

You know i didn't say it out to anyone today, 'cause there was no one there to praise Lord with. But when i left home today, there were ominous dark clouds covering every single bit of the sky. Not a single sight of blue. It was disheartening. I didn't want the coming rain to dampen all my classmates' moods because this class gathering was long-awaited and was what everyone anticipated for. We wanted to have the time of our lives and no rain should ruin it.

I started praying. Throughout the journey to the train station, in the train, during grace, every time possible. God's wonderful.

All the threatening clouds disappeared and the sun came out. Not only was it a normal sun, it was the scorching kind. The kind perfect to have the day, out having fun in the sun. It was simply amazing. His works, his hands. Amen.

I'll update more about my class gathering after i bathe :D

toodles,
I (L) MY SAVIOUR KING :)

Wednesday, August 25, 2010 - 11:14 PM

Damn those who want to speak such chim english that anyone could barely understand lol. There's seriously absolutely no need to act so professional, sigh. Because of your "beat about the bush" english, many could have fallen, could have died, could have faced many undesirable situations that might have been prevented lol.

Sighhh, all those act pro ones, go away hahahaha! Omgee i bet i won't even understand what he/she's talking about!!

- 10:47 PM

This totally deserve the loudest wolf cries and cat calls, and whatever you want (like dog barks or chipmunk squeaks lol).

-whistles!!-

- 10:31 PM

I WATCHED STEP UP 3, IN 3D, WITH KENKEN TODAY! :D

STEP UP 3D WAS LIKE THE ULTIMATE BOMB!

I don't really want to care how others find it. Georgia said she heard it was real bad but to me, it's beyond awesome :) And everything was right in front of me, wowwwwww. I mean of course right, the main purpose of watching it 3D haha! I got a little dizzy at some points though, 'cause it was too close to me haha! But still, woohooo!!

Alyson Stoner is so darn cool. And maybe cool is an understatement. I need to broaden my vocabulary.

I feel like dancing so badly now.
I WANT TO JOIN A FLASH MOB!!

- 12:53 AM

Oh i suddenly remembered Dawn's strange encounter. It's not something you want to have happening on you, really.

Dawn saw this little boy's reflection on the mirror when she was in the lift the other day. That sounds normal isn't it? But hey, here's what. SHE WAS IN THE LIFT ALONE. Omgee the horror!! It was terrifying. I wouldn't be as calm as she was if i was put into that sort of situation. I would have bent down and started crying. No way could i remain cool-headed.

I don't believe in ghosts. Neither do i believe in Hungry Ghost Festival. But i'm still rather petrified. Today, when i went home at about near an hour to midnight, i had to ask my dad down to pick me up. Nu uh, i'm so not going to take that lift up alone. What if i see things i ain't supposed to see? Nope, not taking any chances.

From today onwards, i might just climb stairs up to my unit. It may be way high up, but it beats meeting a small boy with mushroom-hairstyle in the lift, knowing that he's non-existent.

- 12:35 AM

OH.MY.GOSH.
I JUST ROLLED AN ANT USING MY FINGERS.

Eeeew? Okay so i saw this speck of "dust" and i wanted to remove it from my laptop screen. I took it out and rolled it between my thumb and my index finger. Little did i know it was actually a red ant. Dammit i wanted to scream so badly. Not only did i kill that poor tiny creature, i had to give it such a horrible death. Of course, i flicked it away after rolling it. Gross much. My condolences.

Flicking after rolling, just like pisai lololol. I don't do that okay!! HAHAHA.

On the less disgusting side, look at the big bag of clothes that shipped over from Forever21!! I'm going to be a fashionista now. Great oh great.

"You, change your mind, like a girl changes clothes." YAYYYYYYY CLOTHES <3

Tuesday, August 24, 2010 - 11:18 PM

i had so many hthts recently, which makes me really glad. i mean, i've always rather sit down at a quiet area and just talk to my friends for hours and hours, than to spend $$$ to watch a movie and end up not really bonding lol.

i think i've really something to thank God for. great friends. i think God's putting me in a trial now, and i'm sort of facing the pressure to keep up the faith. i know i have to, and i know i will do God proud. 'cause he will only put in trials he know i can handle.

God believe me, i'll show you my faith's up.

- 2:24 PM

Hope will rise, glory shown.
In my life, your will do done.

Have you ever experienced smiling at every single little thing you do? But yet, not knowing why? HAHA yeh i'm so silly i'm smiling while studying my APS.

No, i've not gone bonkers (Y)

YAYYYY STUDYING WITH DAWN AND BOBO NOW <3

Monday, August 23, 2010 - 10:18 PM

You know, today was like so splendid. The type of day when you think to yourself, "hey, nothing can go wrong." Neither was i wrong, today was soooooo great, other than waking up late lol.

But i stayed in the sports hall for almost a good 10 hours. It was tiring, my eyes were almost completely drained. But thank God the last match was so exciting and thrilling, it kept me awake. It was so brilliant watching all the national players come and play at their best, or at least try to. Wowww, i wish i'm somewhere near there.

I mean, they're all under 18, and i'm already 17 right? They're so accomplished and where do i stand? Hmm. Need to do something about my life.

Success in God's eyes.

And i had some autographs from a few players! Pictures too, but not from plenty. But at least i've got some right? I am sure one day i'm going to look back and agree that this was definitely such an experience.

THE INAUGURAL YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES. I'm glad i didn't give it a miss ;)

- 9:34 PM

CONGO VS RUSSIA
0-3

PERU VS JAPAN
3-0

EGYPT VS USA
0-3

IRAN VS CUBA
1-3

It was such a blessing that i got to watch volleyball! Been dreaming of it all day long. And the matches didn't disappoint me any wee bit! But the most exciting ones were Peru versus Japan and Iran versus Cuba. Got super hyped up cheering (Y)

Met Mr Lim, Arista and Grace there. Ohhhh and Melissa! Can't believe she actually still remembered my name! She's like my what, primary one classmate? <3 homggggg awesome.

And the best thing about today is that i finally got to catch up with Amanda! :D

It's battles against white and red.

- 12:54 AM

CHIKORITA
VS
CHICHARITO

Kenken: I keep seeing Chicharito's name as Chikorita.

I nearly flipped when i saw this LOL.

How can such a fine, dashing young man, that plays for MANCHESTER UNITED, be mistaken as a pokemon? LOL, my friend's a joker.

Sunday, August 22, 2010 - 11:36 PM

Kenken and his bad joke.

His friend's status was, "What if I had never existed?"
Ken's reply, "Then there'll be only 25 letters left."

OMGEEEEEEEE HAHAHAHAHA <3

- 11:04 PM

(500th post)

All you people who are cursing Haiti upside down, hoping that they'll have another earthquake, are no better than dirty too. And if they really do experience another earthquake, you'll die of guilt i tell you. And there's no escape. Don't try to comfort yourself by saying "it's just pure coincidence." when that happens. It's YOUR WORK.

SO STOP CURSING THEM!! (Y)

"Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit."
-Psalm 52:2

"Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble."
- Proverbs 21:23

- 10:43 PM

But i got to say, i could really see how much the cub fought for every ball in this match. They really wanted it. And for that, well done! :)

Pick yourselves up, and get that bronze back!!

(not that any of them reads my blog, massive LOL)

- 10:24 PM

HAITI 2 - 0 SINGAPORE

I'm so utterly disappointed with Singapore.

Okay i don't know much about football. Actually, i know nothing about it. But it's clear enough for me to see the significant difference in their performances as compared to the match against Montenegro.

Kicks without thinking, wasting plenty of chances. It's upsetting to see Singapore in such a state after placing so much hope in its football.

The boys better buck up. At least there's still a medal to fight for - Bronze. And if they still don't get onto the podium, then i've nothing to say. It's such a pity.

I know, as dejected as i am right now, the boys must be just as despondent. Seeing their doleful expressions all up on live telecast after the match, it makes me want to cry. That's because we all know it's very possible for them to win this match. Luck's not Singapore's side this time round.

Brandon Koh, Jonathan Tan, Jeffrey Lightfoot and Jeevamani Dhukhilan. I think these 4 deserve the most recognition for the efforts they have all put in. Not saying the other young lions didn't do well, but those 4 mentioned deserves the most credit. Well done! :)
